Will SimCity Deluxe run on Windows 8.1
I have the CD version of SimCity Deluxe but cannot get it to work on Windows 8.1. Will it work if I download via Origin?

Since I cannot relate the name "Deluxe" to any particular one of the numerous Simcity titles, I cannot answer you. Simcity 2013 certainly will.
Simcity 4 was released when Windows XP was still quite new (2003). None of the Vista, Win7, Win8, Win10 versions were in existence. I think that Windows7 still had a decent compatibility mode for Windows XP, I cannot recall about Windows8. I know that Windows 10 has only a very shaky compatibility option.
