10,000 on-board distance is unfun and feels disrespectful to my time

although I haven't unlocked a car yet, imagine you can drive it quick..takes a lot longer when you skate

I don't really have a problem doing this just cycling through the daily parks and doing other stuff. Takes a bit longer, but it's not like an hour, maybe 30 minutes. 

Every single other daily task takes a couple minutes at most to complete. 30 minutes for a measly 100 or so rip chips is, as diamond_desert mentioned, not at all a proportional reward. If they really want to throw this task at us, it should be weekly, since those are supposed to take longer and be completed over the course of a week. I'd rather get on for 5-10 minutes and finish everything so I can play other games, than be strong-armed into playing longer just to skate around for an arbitrary distance if I want the daily completion bonus.

Personally I feel that there are other far more game breaking systems, bugs, and challenges than to ride a certain distance. But I guess I agree 

Sure but this isn't a bug, they've already shuffled around daily quests between updates so it's something they've not only already done before but something that also doesn't need a patch. As far as fixes go this doesn't really compare to a bug, they just have to stop letting it back into the rotation. I'd rather go back to doing a few challenges on the map for dailies, at least those encourage doing tricks instead of just riding around or worse, people trying to find cheap ways to get it done to log off.

Do you just hyper focus on riding around in circles instead of just playing the game while you inevitably complete the task?

Just doing tricks and jumping off a ramp would fulfil the task quickly enough.

completed the other dailies and went to the 3 community parks and was on 1500m, 10k meters is not a quick session

I've got 320+hours logged in the game, every spot has been skated over and over again, this would be a fair comment if they were releasing new areas, even the community parks are recycled now.

There is a point where the same spots get boring and thats the case for a lot of consistant players waiting for new content, hence this as a daily with bare minimum new spots more than justifies this thread imo, forgetting the fact just riding your board is hardly a challenge
