Can anybody help with the Ollie?

Okay so this is likely a very noob-y post, but I’m genuinely stuck

For context, I’m technically using the wrong controller. It’s a Nintendo controller, so all of the controls are off (jump is ZR for some reason). This in mind, since my controller literally won’t let me do the flick for the Ollie, I decided to try and do the Ollie button. But every time I try to do the Ollie button, nothing happens. If there isn’t a way for me to Ollie w/o the Ollie button, is there at least a way to skip the tutorial or change the controls?

Also, is there a way to actually be able to use my keyboard? It lets me use my keyboard for menu stuff, but not actual gameplay.

I’m going to keep trying to see if anything works, but please let me know if you think you know anything useful!!

    Hi there,

    I’m not sure if this will help, but I play on PC with a Switch Pro controller and the game works perfectly. I can do flicks with the joystick, and the button layout is the same as on an Xbox controller.

    Here’s what I do:
    - I connect my Switch controller to my computer (Windows 11) via Bluetooth
    - Then I use a small free program that works great for me: “BetterJoy.” It recognizes my Switch controller and makes it work with all my PC games
    - Finally, I launch Skate

    You can check out a tutorial on how BetterJoy works — it’s pretty easy to use!
