back after a break..
and now I can't seem to keep working towards a pair of pants I wanted since apparently it was in a season pass? whats the point of making these assets and then not letting players get them after X amount of time? If it's for fomo that's clearly not working (24 hour peak is 2200 on steam). like let me give you money for an older season pass or w/e? or don't take away my ability to earn things on the pass I paid for just because I took a break.. or just make those assets available for purchase? idgiAm I hearing a fake Clap emote audio?
Hey, I use the Clap emote a lot to often congratulate nearby skaters if they do something cool or if I notice they're new enough to deserve some praise for a trick. I have been hearing what sounds like a skater holding a skateboard and clapping nearby but I never ever can find them. I'm beginning to think it was added as an ambient sound but it's lowkey got me searching around nearby for someone to notice me.Regarding the difficulty settings for Spot Battle,
English is not my native language, so this message was translated using machine translation. Thank you for your understanding. I have one concern about the upcoming Spot Battle mode, which is scheduled to be released on July 21. Won't allowing each player to use their own individual settings create situations where some players have an advantage or disadvantage in a competitive environment? In *Skate 3*, players were matched based on their difficulty settings, so players using different settings could not compete against each other. Of course, one downside of that system was that it split the player base. However, since Spot Battle is a mode where players compete for high scores, I believe it should provide a fair and level playing field for everyone. For that reason, I think it would be better if Spot Battle used a standardized set of gameplay settings that apply equally to all participants, regardless of their personal preferences. I realize this is only speculation since the full details of Spot Battle have not yet been revealed. I simply hope that some form of measure has been implemented to ensure fair competition.Any chance Skate. Would consider adding Revive Skateboards graphics to the game?
I've skated Revive skateboards for almost 10 years IRL. I started with Zero boards, fell out of skating for a while and then got back into it after finding revives online shop. I am not sponsored or in any way financially tied to their company beyond loving their boards and buying from them when it's time to get a new deck. If not that's all cool cause the deck graphics in game are great already and im going to keep playi g religiously, but it'd be cool to represent the boards I actually skate in game. Thank you for your time!Dual stick controls
I truly believe Skate. could capture a much larger audience if they were to add a dual stick control options. I know skate isn’t supposed to be a “skate sim game” but the animations are clean. The world looks good. The tricks look clean. If you added dual stick controls you would capture almost all of the entire skateboard gamer population. The only reason I go back to the other games is because of the controls. Please consider.Car hitching / optional on board & in-party griefing / old skate 3 challenges
Yooo my name is Barry, love the game. Just wanted to ask and recommend to you guys a core memory of mine and maybe others as well. The ability to ride and gain speed from grabbing onto vehicles and hitting ramps etc. off of them was something that a lot of people enjoyed and I’m sure would love to see be brought back. Also another fun yet funny thing was being able to grief friends on and off the board with the hitting animations. Also some challenges to reconsider adding. Like the hill bombing race challenges w/ the coffin trick. The branding selection and taking pictures for magazines etc. Following famous skaters to hit their line for a challenge was also cool. tagging along side famous skaters to just randomly ride behind and catch a line with was also a fun thing to do, and really helped me to enjoy the nature of some spots that Id usually overlooked as well. Oh and last but not least the creation of Crews and customizations in the them as well with clothes boards etc. was really cool to me and surely others. Which was something that offered a real sense of originality and style that no other skate game had. Hope this one hits home for you guys I know it’s a lot to read but thanks as well for all the fun times and memories that you provided. Much love ~B
