Challenges don't add to rip score

Self explanitory, really annoying bug as friends on ps and xbox have over 12k rip score and im stuck at 9 without it moving. Opening boxes still adds to it but I've just about completed every box and...

    You never got rip score from challenges. You only get rip chips and neighbourhood exp.

update: I've maxed out all the challenges and it now says 11/12 and theres nothing i can do about it
