Challenges not being counted

Every time I check my progress toward completing the challenge goals needed to unlock the mission Finer Grind or the Market Mile area, it shows no progress. I've completed multiple challenges, but it still says 'Complete Challenge Goals 0/whatever.' I've tried doing missions in different areas, playing with friends, and more, but nothing has worked.
