Does anyone know when progress gets reset?

I've stuck not been able to progress since Thursday and had no help at all! I want to play the game but I have nothing to do other than 2 challenges I've played to death so please ecan some let me know when the progress resets? I've heard it's every 4 days but then some say they add more challenges every 4 days? Where do we get this information?
