Feature Suggestion: Skate.Pass UI Concept

TL;DR:
It’s fairly difficult to quickly see which Skate.Pass items you already own because the only indicator is a small checkmark in the corner of each item card. The UI could use a clearer “Owned” state so players can instantly see their progress without squinting or re-checking every item.

Description:
In the current Skate.Pass, the only indication that an item is owned is a small checkmark in the top right corner of each card. With bright card art, coloured borders, and a dark gradient behind the checkmark, it blends into the background and becomes easy to miss, especially when quickly scrolling or previewing multiple pages.

This creates moments that make it hard to identify what you have unlocked, what you are missing, and what you may want to focus on next. A clearer “Owned” state would improve readability and reduce any confusion.

Adding an overlay or dimming the card art on owned items would make progression much easier to follow without changing the reward structure. This is similar to the "Get all items" state used for each page’s max reward.

As shown in “Additional Images”, once all items on a page are collected, the final reward becomes claimable and would naturally shift into the same “Owned” state afterward.

Why it’s useful:

  • Makes unlocked items immediately visible
  • Reduces confusion while scrolling
  • Helps track progression faster and more intuitively
  • Matches modern readability standards for battle passes
  • Prevents repeatedly checking the same items

Example:
The attached mock-up shows a comparison of the Skate.Pass UI with a completed page. The Current UI only uses a small checkmark that can be easy to miss, which makes progression harder to follow. The Concept UI applies the same overlay logic, utilizes the checkmark, and offers much clearer progression tracking.
