flick trick y-axis inverted bug

While playing skate, I noticed that whenever I tried to do a flick trick only on the y-axis, it was inverted. Up was down and vice versa. I set all settings to default, it's not a hardware issue because I checked my controller and it was fine. Even after looking I haven't seen anything about this online. If anyone has advice that would be great.
