Game file corruption (?)

Whenever I download the game and launch it the game keeps stating that the game files installed incorrectly and to reinstall the game, I've done so atleast 10 times. I wondered if it was a drivers issue so I went through and updated every single driver I could, nothing prevailed to fix my issue. So, I decided to relaunch the game despite it stating the game files installed incorrectly, I did load in and create my character and got to the tutorial where I clicked through the couple menus and got to where I should have been able to move, however I wasn't able to move and my character was put into some kind of like roll that I didnt have any control over, all my inputs weren't being recognized and my controller wasn't responsive. What could be causing the issue and what should I do to get around it if there is a way around it?
