Game is too ‘safe’

One of my biggest gripes about the game is how everything is so safe and PC. 

The previous skate game had some minor edge to it but this game has none. Government mandated skating programs? Wth 

The characters you interact with are annoying as well. How did you make Shingo magically into an inventor and city councillor and boring? The girl in the first map section is really cringe too, can’t remember the specific voice lines right now.
And please can Vee shut up! I don’t want the game to give me crap for pushing mongo all the time, I don’t mind it from NPCs occasionally but not following me around. I know I have other missions, I’m trying to hit a trick line stop telling me I have more missions! I swear it said something about ‘your female parents’ at one point too, no idea what that means. 
The ImpervaTech bit is weird too, it’s cringe scifi explaining away ‘we invented the no pain machine’. It’s not needed. I don’t need everything to have story and lore to back it up, it’s just a core mechanic of the game, just like session markers.

overall I love playing the game just have to tune out a large orchestra of annoying voices.
