also, nobody expected a full game but at least functioning properly after it being in pre alpha for nearly a full year now. Still missing textures, missing basic things that most of the older skates with, you can't even use the classic camera setting its some basic high med and low setting, it's all basic. They promoted this game as a "step to the future" so far this is a step into our pockets and a crappy f2p wanna be skate game. I don't understand how everyone is so okay with this; the game is God awful and has nothing to do with actual skating. You don't work with brands, you can't do camera spots anymore, what ever happened to Hall of Meat? it got replace with some crappy Project 8 Ragdoll physics that have way too much gravity and makes the game soulless, the parkour system makes no sense when we can just teleport everywhere. Im honestly wondering what's the point of this game. Theres nothing new, hell it's not even basic skate. You use a skateboard to do barebone missions with corny "woke" text. If they expect you to pay IN GAME for their IN-GAME currency yeah id expect an actual playable game. Not this trash.

it really bothers me to see these posts basically crying over a pre alpha build.
We are testing the game on various bugs, stability of the servers etc & its not just meant for just skating around thinking u get the newest build of the game with all features build in.
You cry over missing textures and all kinds of stuffs so clearly you went in without knowing what you actually signed up for.
this has been in "pre alpha" for almost a year now. Still missing basic features. People want a functional game. not "please give us 50 dollars"

because that's all they want? don't you find it at all funny that when the originally were hyping this up they promised none of this and now we are getting it. There zero sense of the shops when they are just gonna get reset. You're talking to someone who's played the OG Tony Hawks and Skates and comparing it to this "new generation" this is shameful. Nearly a full year in play testing missing basic things. Learn from Battle front 2. Zero brands, no actual skate sessions. What is there from the other skates thats in this besides the skateboard? nothing.
what I signed up for was an experience for the "future of skate" as they falsely promised. they've also falsely promised a lot of things and yet yall defend this shameless company that don't care and as the "future" of skate is just pocket opener simulator, I've tested many games with ZERO microtransactions and yet this game is begging for your money . This will never be like skate 1 - 3 hell it doesn't even look like a skate game, over saturation, jarring tricks, boring tracks, lame models and a story that probably won't exist. Have we not learned from Battlefront 2? or we all forgetting about that?
Your delusional lxViiRus, we don't care that is the pre alpha and we understand this is not the complete game. Were infuriated that the game they are making is FTP and the only way to get branded cosmetics is behind a paywall rather than previous games challenges with pros and getting sponsors. Were pissed its not Skate 4 its fornite meets skateboarding microtransactions littered with no story or identity, a sandbox with terrible challenges and no story.

Come on man you are complaining about a game that is not finished and in a pre alpha state. You are complaining about not having pros and getting sponsors it can be added later this is just to test the basic mechanics of the game and probably you haven’t played much because is so fun with friends. Try to play the game, try to find bugs and don’t pay to much attention to this things because obv it’s not the Final game. Feedback is great and you should say what you think but with common sense and keeping in mind that the game will improve over the months.
A year later still full of excuses. STOP EXCUSING this company. sponsors were a thing in all the game out of the gate so why the change now? all the want is your money. Wake up dude reality is here and the game sucks. Paywall Skate.
