IDEA: CREWS, CREW HUBS/SKATE WAREHOUSE, CREW LEADERBOARDS
This is a repost of an already posted concept, wanted to post on the public forum instead of the insider forum so i can get more eyes on it
CORE CONCEPT: "Crews" would be groups of players that can band together to skate, compete, and express their style as a community. Each crew would have a unique identity, customizable through crew logos, colors, and gear. Players could join existing crews or create their own, encouraging both casual players and more competitive players to find a community that fits their image.
Crew Progression System:
- Crew Levels: Each crew would have a progression system where they level up by completing challenges, participating in events, ETC. As crews level up, they unlock exclusive rewards like custom deck designs, wheels, and clothing items, warehouse items.
- Daily and Weekly Challenges: To encourage consistent play, crews could have rotating challenges, such as hitting a specific trick count, or skating a set distance. ETC.
- Monthly Leaderboards & Competitive Events: This is where the competitiveness comes in. Each month, crews would be ranked on leaderboards based on their performance by doing challenges, and more stuff i cant list off the top of my head. The top crews at the end of the month would receive unique, rare items like exclusive gear, or special titles that could be under or above their own name!
Unique Rewards:
- Exclusive Gear and Cosmetics: Winning crews could unlock limited-time rewards such as deck designs, or exclusive clothing that other players can’t get. These rare items would be time-sensitive and would rotate each month, making them highly desirable.
- Custom Titles: A fun, simple way to distinguish top crew members in game would be through custom titles that reflect their crew's accomplishments
Custom Crew Hub/Skate Warehouse:
Introduce a Customizable crew hub or skate warehouse as a central place for each crew to hang out, practice, ETC. The idea would be that crew leaders and higher-ranking members could fully customize this space, fostering creativity, community, and a sense of ownership for the crew.
Personalized Design & Customization:
- Skate Warehouse: The crew's warehouse would be a blank canvas where members can design their dream skate park. They can add ramps, rails, half-pipes, ETC creating a unique skate spot.
- Custom Decoration: Beyond just skate elements, the crew could decorate the space with graffiti, posters, custom logos, ETC making the space feel like their own hangout spot. As the crew levels up or completes challenges, they unlock more customization options.
- Unlockable Assets: Over time, crews can unlock special items to place in their hubs—rare items like a giant golden rail, custom half-pipes, or graffiti that reflects their crew’s vibe.
The Custom Hub/Skate Warehouse would double as a social hub, where the crew can meet up between skate sessions to relax, chat, and mess around in their own environment. Crews could even organize mini skate sessions in their hub, whether it's a casual trick jam or friendly competition, with the space providing a personal and relaxed atmosphere for it.
Crews could also invite other players or even open their skate warehouse to the public, turning it into a hotspot for other players to visit. This would give crews a chance to show off their creativity and skate skills, while also fostering a wider community interaction.
By adding the Custom Hub/Skate Warehouse, Crews in Skate. would have a physical representation of their shared identity and creativity, providing both a casual hangout space and a fun creative outlet
i know the game is still being developed so hopefully something along the lines could be added soon
