Is it just me or does the new camera system **bleep**?

I wish you could gradually move the camera up and down or left and right at your choosing instead of looking at a very low angle up like in the first game essentially.

I've noticed it made it kind of difficult to play, but I'm trying to adapt.

Thoughts?
