Mission: Transition 101 Issue

I am asked to press LT in order to grab the board, but it just doesn’t work at all. Any solutions? As well in free roam I cannot grab the board and do grab tricks with LT/RT buttons.

Im having the same issue, its weird because when skating around normally both RT and LT work fine, but when in the mission it doesnt do anything
