Skate 3 pumping is different than the new game, this guy goes through it, the basic idea is instead of releasing your pump at the bottom of the ramp, it has to be at the halfway point, my gameplay improved dramatically afyer going over this video and doing some tweaks,

this is at least a help for doing it right
But i run this settings and more than often getting false pump behavior anyway.
Slowdowns and not enough or no airtime all the time.
its a physics engine problem.
it occuring even on "mega" ramps with high speed.
It slows down on verts and on bowls etc. it wont give enough speed most of the time as it is right nowYes this is still an issue for me too. Not fixed. If this is the intention, it’s not fun and it’s as simple as that. Feels very finicky regardless of the video. It will say “clean” pump but there is no increase in speed.
