Monetized already?

Pushing micro transactions on your play-testers, who are providing you free labor is just bad and unforgivable. We don’t even have a full map, full progression or even textures on every object yet. Will not be playing anymore, do better.

It's a free game, they have to make money somehow. They're not forcing you to buy anything.

Yes it’s a free game, but it has not been released. The people playing the game now are play-testers and should be rewarded for their work to help make the game the best it could be, not monetized. This is something gamers should not support or allow if they care at all about the quality of games. Give us a completed game or at the VERY LEAST an early access release before you start asking for money.

  • Yea, that's kinda awful. NGL, I'm glad they are getting negative press for this.

Also, I hate the free to play model and would much rather put my $60 on it to just own the game outright. Free to play + hella micro-transactions is trash tbh

Everyone I’ve spoken to about this has agreed the same that they would rather pay flat out £60/$60 for the game and not have these micro transactions.

EA claim they care about the fans and that’s why they’re doing this but they clearly don’t care at all. As you’ve stated The fact they are pushing monetisation on the playtesters is clear proof of the motives behind this game and explains why it’s just a crappy Fortnite knock off.

such a shame, such wasted potential.

😂 You forget this is EA; regardless of whether it’s $60 or not, it’s gonna have micro transactions. Look at literally any other EA sports game

  • Come on..now you even complain about free things. The game is fun especially with friends. It's a play test in pre alpha you can see that the missions are simple just to let us try the mechanics. Nobody forced you to play it and honestly if the game is free it's normal that they use micro transactions.

    re: RacingGamePro1

I understand your arguments if this game had been released or was in early access. But it’s not, it’s an unfinished game in pre-alpha being playtested. There’s no defending this.

Yeah everyone knows the game is going to have micro transactions and that’s fine, it is free to play after all. Just not in the pre alpha.
