Neither the EA app or Steam launches the game on my pc!

Gone through most of the fixes youtube brings up when you type windowed black screen game exiting, but cant find anything that works. The game weirdly works on my ROG Ally though for some reason but not on steam or the ea app. The ea app does give me a message "error on our end please try later" every time for the last week. Hope someone can give me a hand on this, really enjoying the game for the 10 hours i have into it
