Opened your eyes step 6 of 7 bug?????

I've been playing skate since skate was just skate, completed them all up untill now.

Im trying to complete the step 6 of open your eyes and the challenge is simply land 5 grinds and score 2500 point which to be honest I can usually hit that target score in 1 trick but I do a grind and then get told to flip in flip out I do both to then have the challenge restart. 

Am I missing something? I've tried deleting re installing ive tried countless amounts of times I really don't know what to do at this point. 

Im ready to completely delete this game and return to other skateboarding based games because this is just ridiculous and truly disappointing as a long term fan of the series.
