Option to hide players avatars or private session

I think it would be really cool if there was an option to hide other players’ avatars completely or have a private session mode. Sometimes I just want to skate around, practice lines, and enjoy the map without seeing a bunch of people skating through me or standing around spots. I like the online aspect of the game, but having the choice to turn it off would make the experience a lot better for players who want a more solo feel. Even if it’s just a setting that hides other players and their nametags while keeping everything else the same, I think a lot of people would use it. Having more control over how we experience the world would be a great quality-of-life feature.

yeah that's PC only for now (allegedly), not sure if the other platforms will get it. it's useful but the player pop-in when they're 5 feet away is almost as distracting as being surrounded by people lol

I think this is a totally reasonable request, I'm not sure if you've seen/have access to the graphics setting "Gameplay Density" under the Frame Rate section, but that actually reduces the number of other players locally rendered (it also does vehicles and pedestrians to be clear) This could alleviate some of your frustrations in the meantime - not sure if it's PC exclusive setting or not, sorry.

I hope they do add in this kind of mode for people who really do not want to see a single other person, but it would kind-of make the world feel a little lonely without seeing other people. It reminds me of walking around a city during COVID lol

Seriously. Some areas can get so crowded that it becomes overwhelming to play. Our only options right now that I’m aware of is to hide others objects, which doesn’t even fully hide them. It still shows a blurry version of it. Takes away the immersion and just feels messy.
