Pivoting manuals to move forward

Could we please have manuals and power slides have some momentum? One of the most annoying parts of the game is getting stuck in a position and having to pick up the board to recenter. In real life and skate 3 I can do a smooth powerslide 180 or pivot a few feet forward on a manual. The endless stand-still manual is absurd. Manual and pivoting mechanics are clunky and bad for forward movement. Please fix.
