Please Do Away With Lootboxes

I just want to be able to play the game, earn points, and buy whatever cosmetic thing I want to get instead of hoping to get something I like from a randomized list. Also the secondary currency to purchase cosmetics is real mobile-gamey and uncomfortable. I'd much rather pay an upfront cost for the game and not have to buy any in-game currency.

I get the corporate suits probably insist on these inclusions to increase play time and get people addicted to the gamble-adjacent thrill, but skateboarding is supposed to be counter-culture. These en**bleep**tifications just leave a bad taste in my mouth and opening to mixed reviews on Steam proves I'm not alone in that.
