Pumping physics and speed retention

Question

After coming from playing skate 3 a lot before this came out. I have noticed that it is very difficult to retain speed. Especially the pumping ability feels massively nerfed. If the pumping physics could be closer to that of skate 3 the game would be perfect. That is my only qualm so far with this game. Other than that I'm loving it

Have you turned pump assist all the way up? That might help you with the speed. Autopump might help too, as it applies max pump force every time without demanding spot-on timing.

Personally, I like slower and steady transition, so I’d hate for them to make global changes that would throw this experience out.
