Re: Tix Change = NO NO NO NOOOOOO

I think this is the update that actually sends me to stop playing. With no good updates, my tasks being broken for 10 straight days, and then being told im losing all my Tix. I literally have no incentive to play any longer, and I have no reason to think this is going to change any time soon. Season 3 will be the same regurgitated slop. No new, unique missions. No Isle of Grom. No Brickswich. Microtransactions will take priority over bug fixes. This game will not recover enough money to pay the devs to work on these areas. I truly believe this.

To make this worse my friend is ill in hospital as he has a eating disorder and since he earned up to 8k tix he didn’t worry about the following season missing a couple weeks to month and now with them disappearing he’s going to have to spend his money which he won’t be able to afford as he’s had to have time away from work, this is disappointing from skate.

They say this is what the “community” wanted but no one asked for this, if anyone wanted a change to tix we all want 100% of our tix to rollover, worst update yet 

yeah this combined w there still being virtually nothing to do in the game (multiplayer matchmaking) has been the final straw for me 

I have grinded (no pun intended) relentlessly and consistently with this game, and tried to defend it; but this change. If it goes through. It's not even a nail in the coffin. It is an absolute nuke to the coffin and the ground its buried in. This change is absolute BONKERS... I am genuinely ashamed to admit how loyal I have been to this game. The only way I see it being ok, is if the leftover Tix is converted with a 1-1 ratio to SVB, so in the next season we can buy our Tix back or buy store/shop items, and we KNOW that won't happen.

Opened everything and got like 5k more tix. I think by the end of S2 the number of tix would be tripled, but now they just delete them. In that case, there's no reason to play until next season.

I'm blown away by how dumb this move is. Who asked for all their tix to just disappear? Who actually looked at their excess and said "the problem is not that I've played too much, the problem is that I have money at all"? They keep responding to the "problems" of having "too much" X currency by screwing over players who don't play their unfinished, overly repetitive game religiously. It's insane. They already did this with event currency and all that did was annoy everyone.

This is like giving life boats to rich aristocrats on a sinking ship so they can shove their paddles in the faces of the poor as they drown.

EA/FULL CIRCLE, STOP LISTENING TO THE COMPLAINTS OF THE PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING, HELP THE PLAYERS WHO ARE "BEHIND" CATCH UP! LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD, DON'T CUT OFF THE BOTTOM!

I have extra tix because I've been doing basically every single weekly/monthly/OTL challenge with a friend to help them finish up their battle passes from S1 and S2 (they STILL aren't done with those, btw, so absolutely stellar job on the rewards/cost economy). And now, all my hours and hours of playtime that I thought would help me build up a defense against the already incomprehensible decision to slash what we earned from one season into the next are entirely wasted. What reason do I even have to keep playing? This is supposed to be for the benefit of people like me somehow?!

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen a developer announce. And they did so proudly, like they think people will really appreciate all the hard work that went into a plan that was clearly made out of contempt for their players.

"Players had more than they could spend and didn't like losing 75% of what they earned, so now you lose 100%" is basically what the developers are saying with this new announcement.

It was nice knowing that if I could complete S2's pass in time (which after adding it up just now I realize I will not, I still need 6,249 Tix to complete it..) I would be able to keep playing every day (as I have been since release) and earn a small cushion of extra Tix going into Season 3 that I'd be able to use to possibly not worry about missing a few future tasks.

That's now gone out the window.

All the devs are doing here is punishing all players, both free and paid, and for what? Because free players had Tix leftover because they only claimed the free items? So what? All this is going to do is make people who finish the pass completely stop playing until the next season starts.

You guys are taking away the incentive to keep logging on post-pass for owners of premium while also removing player agency for everyone who didn't purchase it, this is insanely unfriendly for everyone. Who are you guys claiming to hear?

It's a big misstep. I love the game, love to play all the refreshing challenges just to hone my skills, and this update is just not what any of us want to see. Having leftover TIX inbetween seasons rewards players who log on and keep the game alive, we're logging on every day because we're not the kind of people who will be paying extra to skip tiers in a Skate pass. I've got 160,000 rip chips, will those be taken away when Brickswich is unlocked? 

Don't take people's things away, just accept that you have lots of players who love the game so much they show up to grind it even when they might not 100% feel like it, because they are playing for the long-term. Please FC do the right thing and do away with this tix tax! :( 

They simply should’ve just left it all rollover and add some content into the game… greedy move. What a slap in the face.

Ever heard of that camel carrying straw? 

last season we kept a third of non-bought tix.. made a thread here a few days ago saying that wouldn't be fair this season since the excess is a lot more due to the delay their side. 

Then see this, all tix even bought going to zero!

The thing is their response to having too much currency is to buy items the user didn't want, it doesn't help users with lots of tix it **bleep** them over too. I'm one of those people, if there's something I didn't get with tix, I DON'T WANT IT. I don't care if I have the tix for it. Bad enough i have to get things i don't care for to get other things I want. 

I completely agree, this is a monumentally stupid decision. I look forward to either reading the retraction or uninstalling the game.

Such a slap in the face. Tix are the only incentive. If my tix disappear, so do I.
