Because it is no longer in the playtest phase, it's in the Early Access phase and they changed the way progression works so everyone got reset for the final time. They were up front when you got selected that progress would be wiped.
they've told us several times and very explicitly that the progress would be reset periodically in the popups you probably didn't read.
