Sequence tricks don't count during some missions

I got well over the required sequence score and it still didn't count it, I ended up doing a manual to get the score and it worked but it should work without work around, for example I grinded and flip tricked a ledge and got more than the required sequence score yet it didn't count so I manualed and tic taced kickflip to keep the score going and it did count
