SKATE PC - Black Screen on Startup Requiring Hard Restart
Hello EA Support,
I am experiencing a serious issue with SKATE on PC and would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Platform: PC
Launcher: Steam and EA App
Every time I launch SKATE, the game initially appears to load normally. However, shortly after startup, the screen goes completely black and becomes unresponsive. When this happens, I am unable to return to the desktop, access Task Manager, or close the application through normal means.
The only way to recover my system is to perform a hard restart of my PC.
The issue occurs regardless of whether I launch the game through Steam or directly through the EA App. The problem is consistent and prevents me from playing the game at all.
Currently - The only workaround is to open a Chrome Browser window right after launching SKATE and then using "Alt-Tab" to switch back into the game once it was fully loaded to the Start Screen
