Skate Won't Launch on PC - Black Screen, No Error Code

I've been trying to launch the Skate playtest on PC, but it won't start properly. Here's what happens:

  • The Anti-Cheat screen pops up as expected.
  • A black window (which seems to be the game) appears in the top-left corner of my screen but closes after a few seconds.
  • After that, the EA app reopens, and the game doesn't launch.
  • I don't see any error codes or messages that could help me identify the issue.

Here's what I've already tried:

  • Updated my graphics drivers and Windows to the latest versions.
  • Closed all overlay apps (Discord, Nvidia, Steam, etc.).
  • Ran the game and the EA app as an administrator.
  • Repaired the game files through the EA app.
  • Reinstalled the game multiple times.
  • Restarted my PC several times.

I'm not sure what else to try at this point. Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I’m having the same issues.

     Anticheat starts. Quits and opens EA app. Not even getting the black screen. I tried everything you said.

    Even updated the properties on the anticheat launcher/installer to administrator launch. 

    I then got a login screen after the anticheat but it crashes after i hit sign in.

    The same. Tried even to reinstall EA app but nothing happened, waiting for some fixes or smth

    Same for me I decided to download and run the game on an old laptop that shouldn’t be able to run the game and it works. Idk why but it takes about 2-3 secs for it to load the anti cheat but on my pc it takes 30-40 secs. I think it have to do with the launch of the game like the time it takes or maybe using a amd cpu. When I get home ill try running experiments on my pc like taking out a stick of ram to match the laptop and other stuff like that

    I have a Intel cpu and it does the same, I’ve already tried multiple things and nothing worked, I sent a email to the EA playtesting support but they’ll probably take too long to help
