This game still needs tons of work.
I’m gonna be openly critical to this game even if we’re all hyped about it, call me annoying, take away my beta idc, the game fully has been requested since probably a year after skate 3 back in 2011 I bet, I’m very much pleased that it overall plays very similar to the skate games BUT for a game that purely had everything bigger and better this is sad to see so far, the apparel and customization for your skate character is atrocious to what we got through skates 1-3 it genuinely looks even worse than a fortnite skin, for a game that’s been in development for maybe 4-5 years now, this? This is how far they’ve worked on this? Insane texture pop ins, downright laughable textures and a map that has loads of tall buildings in it makes this feel big but yet very small, and when I say that I mean the scale of these areas are very narrow instead of OPEN like skate 3. Am i saying that EVERY spot in the map isn’t open no not at all, but in comparison to skate 3’s open vast fields of green and Rocky Mountains, this is just worse, and the worst thing immediately about this is the fact that. THE GAME ISN'T EVEN REMOTELY DONE AND THEY’RE EXPECTING US THE CONSUMER TO BUY THESE BASURA **bleep** COSMETICS?. The game isn’t even out yet. There’s so many things that need to just change immediately, have an offline mode, actually give us better rag doll physics, reward us with actual apparel this game under no circumstance should even have a micro transaction page in the game at least nothing like Fortnite. but it’s the world we live in.
you don’t got any iconic skaters like Rob Dyrdek or coach frank in this, the music is just meh, it’s nothing compared to Heavy hitting LICENSED music
it’s flat standard generic white and yellow score counter is just unbelievably boring and dull, the game just quite literally needs GLOW electric lights and neon vibrancy and oh will this game even get vibrations for the controller? EA, full circle, get your **bleep** together.
