Social menu ruining lines

Ok, seriously!.. is anybody else having this problem? Especially during a line challenge, when you get all the way to the final trick, and mid-trick, somebody’s player profile pops up on screen, stalling your trick and effectively ending the run unfinished? I thought it might be my controller being malfunctious, but switching controllers doesn’t usually help. (Yes, I just made that word up)
