Soft locked on the first challenge since day 1

Since day 1, I've been stuck on "spots and how to own them". I do the initial tasks of, set a marker, ollie off the ramp, do a spin, do a 180 ollie off the ramp. Then my game fades to black and boots me back into free skate with the challenge still active but no progression from my previous challenges I just did.

It's been over a month, I just want to play...
