Spot Battles and Block Parties are just cheese with zero substance lol, you are not supposed to put any value in losses, wins, quits.

But it should be so much more :/  it's limited enough as it is. Let's open doors not close them.

It can't be anything more, the very concept is that people have to find the quickest way to generate as much score as possible. There is fundamentally no competitive integrity to the modes and no reward for not using exploits or glitches to win. So just treat them as a bit of fun, unless you have to get wins for a bounty.

If I saw someone who'd won a ton of block parties, like we're talking into the 60s, 80s, 100s even - then I would assume that person is just a serial cheeser and it'd actually have the opposite intended effect of bragging rights.

There's always gunna be a cheeser/bot..in every MP game?....idc about randoms looking at my BP stats. I want to see my own and my friends'

As for throwdowns - Do you like the ability to quit out mid game? Its not fun when everyone quits before the throwdowns ends. That needs to be fixed. I would like to see randoms quit stats though. who wants to be friends with a quitter?

That point about there always being cheesers is exactly what I'm talking about. Block Parties and Spot Battles are just meant to be a bit of fun. Adding tracked wins/losses/quits just isn't in the spirit of it, if you look at dev interviews for Spot Battles, they talk specifically about watching each player do their run because you get to see how other people play the game. For Block Parties, watching what the winning player is doing and copying it is how a lot of players will pick up new tricks or learn things about the game.

The ability to quit out mid game is great. People might get invited to do an OTL or some other content that's actually important and they can just go and do it. Sure, sucks if everyone quits, but you can just quit and start another one. Nothing needs to be fixed, nothing is broken.

Man if you won't be friends with someone because they quit out of an unranked friendly competition, I think at that point you're the one doing them a favour 🤨
