Yes, and I tried to climb or get up somehow, but I just made the situation worse. Now I keep falling into the water over and over, only to respawn and have the same thing happen again. I tried deleting the game completely to do a total reset, but nothing works.

I am having the same issue. I do not have access to fast travel and do not have friends to teleport to.
