yo please tell everybody you know in ea headquarters to ge-ge-get to making a skate 4, the franchise is currently in it's prime and you have you have the whole skate community backing you. Please, look at our ideas, mine, everybody who has commented, see what you can do. It's been three years ☹️ please don't dissapoint your loving fans of the great franchise

you guys have some killer ideas, as a skater and gamer I can agree with most points you give out, I like the tech tricks and the mini ramp skating ideas, one thing I would like to add to the park creator is a molding feature, like if you have a ramp and a qp right next to eachother and you have that annoying little lip on it, include a molding feature to smooth it out and you could use this feature to bring up little bubbles in the ground and shape it to what you want.

even though a new skate game would be great im sure there won't be one anytime soon.
there is still an active community and players who enjoy this series even though EA killed the Website
we are in contact with the guys who developed the series and Cuz made us pretty clear that there wont be a new one soon.
Now with the next generation consoles coming things might change tho, who knows....
- Anonymous13 years agoEa if you read this thread please take into consideration my idea which I know all of people agree with, while I know a lot of people I'm sure like the mainstream skaters and would like them in it, there are also a lot of people who are really into more creative skateboarding, companies like polar who are all about wallies and wallrides, and about making DIY spots, the no complies are pretty unrealistic as with the wallides, an if you watch YouTube many people including myself find you can wallie things but a specific wallie button would be appreciated. I know my views are not the views of a large amount of players, but I know a lot of people that agree with me, the views of people before me also have good ideas like the house and the board breaking etc, but the skate franchise has been largely mainstream skaters and companies (understandably) but why not include companies that are on the rise like polar , 5boro, cons shoes, dickies trousers and please put in the camo pants from skate 1 , all the pants in skate 3 look terrible. Also put in the OG blazer mids.
Hopefully you'll take my points into consideration , if nothing else, the wallie button and realistic no complies - Anonymous12 years ago
In addition to what this young man said I am practically in tears to find out that it is HIGHLY possible skate 4 could be coming =') Myself, scantraxx77, and my friend, ODS1992, play skate 3 almost every single day together and due to a lot of glitching done by a lot of people on various S.K.A.T.E levels to do ridiculous tricks we play our own games of S.K.A.T.E we are very found of particular down rail located in on the boarder of the loading docks and second and navy.
Things that could also be added:
NEW FLIP TRICKS- the following examples can be found on youtube for reference ex: HOSPITAL FLIP, BETA FLIP, DOLPHIN FLIP, ALPHA FLIP etc. Chris Haslem actually has a wild trick on youtube the name escapes me but if I remember correctly he does a front side kickflip and half way through and punts the board with his back foot to do an under laser flip. EVERY trick can be turned into an underflip!
NEW S.K.A.T.E modes: flip tricks to grinds, manny pad s.k.a.t.e games it'd take some hard work to program but I think a lot of real skaters would appreciate a variety not to mention it would push people to smash those BS feebles or BS smiths into place etc. Maybe even throw customizable games of skate where you can give people multiple attempts to nail it before they get a letter. Lord knows when my friend and I skate that rail at 2nd and Navy I desperately need more than one shot. You could also throw in a voting system to dispute whether a trick is legit or not. We call each other on wild tricks like BS360 360 flip to BS feeble all the time. You could even make the games very specific for ex: I set a FS 360 Laser flip everyone else should have to spin FS as well for it to count.
LOCATIONS: Add real everyday skate parks like WOODWARD and such
Character customization: add various new piercing styles, me personally I have my ears stretched and I try to make my character look as much like me as possible I think it'd be cool to give my character my piercings and such. Oh and a major flaw in clothing from skate 3 make the skinny denim it's really annoying to see the socks and have to wear high tops to hide it. Let us give our character a voice as well that'd make it possible to make a very in depth story line and sometimes it'd be nice to be able to tell Reda or Shingo to shut up. =)
I'm out of ideas for now but I'm sure more will pop up in time =)
those that got to this point feel free to hit me up on SKATE 3 and you can come check out the 2nd and Navy rail and take us on in a game of skate =)
WITH LOVE, scantraxx77

maybe not veteran I think Pro would be a better choice

the skate games have not had a pc version so could you make a skate 4 with a pc version?🙂
- Anonymous12 years agoWhat about skate 4? Most of people who bought skate 3 was so impressed by the awesomeness of this game, and really really wants EA to make skate 4. That would be amazing. Please take into account the idea of making it. I would be a big deal.
- Anonymous12 years agoWill it be out soon ????????????

I certainly expect nothing until 2015 at the earliest, but even that would be rushed without anything announced yet and next gen just getting out of the gate this year. Time will be needed to explore the capabilities of the systems and the desire for an extreme sports game is needed to sell.
Any arguments on "people still play and there's a community" aren't going to warrant a new release. Either the genre revives, or something spectacular about a new title will help it sell.
With that being said, I might as well speculate on what I would want in a new Skate game- Various difficulty modes was a good choice. It invites all sorts of people to play. I would make sure Hardcore is tightened up. Overall, just keep trying to reduce glitches and promote a solid simulation. (I say this even though I was all about the arcade style). EA tends to be about authenticity in games, and up until Skate, any skateboarding fans had Tony Hawk to look to for any representation. With the realism aspect of Skate, they fill that niche and should continue to improve it.
- Filming is certainly the key feature of Skate. Everyone could share their work with others. I would say dare try to make things co-op where you need a friend to film while the other person hits a line. This shouldn't be forced cause everyone wont have a friend around or may not necessarily appreciate the culture behind such a decision, but teams would have more of a social aspect in being allowed more things to do with each other.
- This brings me to my third point. EA Canada, please quit making online-centric games. You can't guarantee a fanbase and thus your special features will fall flat and lose playablilty without an assured base of players. Skate.Create lost support after 3 years. SSX is barren (and the 321Go events didn't save anything cause there's no one there to face off against). Players need to be able to accomplish things in their own time, and if everyone is not playing it, the online features should benefit the solo player, rather than punish for not having an active team or community.
- In terms of mechanics, I understand the controller was about spent with Flick-it, but it felt like a disappointment when the only new tricks from Skate 2 to Skate 3 were darkslides and underflips. Pressure flips have been mentioned, and I think clicking the sticks would have aided in that.
- If a website returns to help in creating things and managing players, it really needs to be in game as well. An in game graphics creator would save the trouble of having to transfer and hope things work out.
- Teleport. Unless it's ridiculously out of bounds, if I want to try and skate it, I don't want to have to glitch to the roof of a building. One of my videos had to manipulate a Hall of Meat challenge in order to access a skyscraper. Why not pick and go?
- Draw an object. Perhaps dragging around an object creates the immersion of being a skater and having to setup your own objects, but drawing out rails in Create-a-park was a nice precision feature that I wish I had in the city.
- Bring the Skate shop and other places of interest back into the city and out of the menu.
That's all I have for now. Hope to see more extreme sports out of the next gen whether EA continues the reign or someone else steps in.
