Yes, ive tried holding the power button for 10 second probbably 50 times, turn the console on, reload BF, try to play multiplayer anything and consecutivly get the same screen.

Been having the exact same problem for four days, wanted to play on my birthday (Nov. 20) but I've had this issue since the 18th.

Summarize your bug When I try to play any multiplayer gamemode (Strike, Blast, Extraction, Heroes) the screen gets darker for about 10 seconds and a pop up and says "If you keep seeing this screen press and hold the power button for 10 seconds then turn back on and try again. (0x80040900)". I've done plenty of troubleshooting but this issue has been persistent for 3-4 days now

Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? First saw it (11/18/2018). Still seeing it (11/22/2018)

What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Attempt to join any multiplayer game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Screen darkens after selecting "Strike" or "Blast" for example. After ~10s a window appears, not allowing me to continue to the multiplayer game
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a loading symbol in the top left corner by my gamertag icon but instead, the window with the error (0x80040900) appears.

Same here, and started at the same time (seems to coincided with the new console update). Reinstalled the game with no results. Between this and the campaign also being broken for me, this game is unplayable.

Ive had this game since it came out and ive ben able to play multiplayer for a total of four consecutive days near the beginning of this month (november).  

This seems to becoming a trend. I see several people including myself suffering this problem.  As ive stated before ive had the game since it came out and had this problem. Most people with said problem is just seeing this bug. Ive gotten to play multiplayer only 4 days in november and its gone again.  Back to playing arcade again.  No more XP or upgrading starcards or fun.

Have the exact same problem as well. This game has so many game breaking issues on Xbox.
