Specifically, I have the EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 and yes, I've set it to "aggressive" with the fan curves to hit full speed at 80 degrees and 90% at 70 degrees. But as I've said in my previous post, things look normal now and it might have been the small update we got.
You have a very good card there and your monitor is 144hz are you playing the game with vsync off?
If so you can try this command within the game's console : gametime.maxvariablefps 150
This way you will limit your fps up to 150 without adding any input lag! So you can save some of the wasting power and your temps will come down a little more 😉

Yes, vsync is off as I have gsync enabled.

- 8 years agoFor gsync you have to stay under your monitors refresh rate so use 135-140 .
If you can pleasw report back if that worked because for me it's broken , it works fine for battlefield 1 and mass effect but I would like to know if it's only me or they broke it with the new update.
