You can go your own way. Too many matches I’ve played have turned into endless hallway chokes. There is generally always another path. Sneak around and go for ThE MAstEr FlAnK. All joking aside, sneak around and don’t be the person who rushes forward and dies immediately thinking they can be the hero of the match.
To contribute here, apart from flanking you can also be the guy that runs in there if there’s enough cover and stuff. This worked in a match for me as an Imperial on Yavin - I planted the bombs on 2 turbo lasers, helped capture both the outpost and camp, completed one and did a bit of another of the door controls, and helped attack the final phase. Bit of a flex, but hope it helps new players

@HCarbonic Yes, that was the song reference I was going for.

It’s also a good idea to shoot at the AAT’s form the back, for multiple reasons.
- 5 years ago@SuperSpyUU Yeah, vehicles have weak spots. I’ll list them now:
ATST: The back of the head
ATAT: the underbelly tube thing
ATRT: the driver
AAT: the back
Speeders: the driver
ATTE: underneath
Saber Tank and MTT: uh, yeah, that’s the thing...not really a specific spot, but just shoot. Back works best for saber tank.- WebsterHelios4 years agoRising Ace@HCarbonic ATST at the upper leg joint or belly and saber tank has tubes on side. I believe they could be weak points.

How to defend yourself against Grievous' claw rush (or dash abilities of other heroes) as saber hero:
Stay close to a wall/solid object and hold block. They can't maneuver around your back and there's the chance that their ability gets cancelled if they charge too straightforward into the wall. Be careful regardless and keep adjusting your block to the direction from where they're attacking.
Use long force jumps to avoid being hit.
Use the high ground (e.g. crates, boxes...) and they can't hit you with their dash as they can't jump at the same time of course.

Here are some saber hero strategies.
Long force jumps: Swinging your lightsaber at the peak of the jump in order to make the jump go faster and farther.Counter: This is a glitch that is hard to achieve, and maybe I shouldn’t be teaching people to abuse it, but it basically entails holding block and then swinging at the same time. This is to counter saber spammers. Timing is everything, and fairly risky.
The friendship truce: This is particularly challenging to pull off, as well as being risky, with all of the noobs playing. This will only work in HvV or HS. Simply keep pressing, not holding, block so your lightsaber is waving. If the opponent Does the same, turn off your lightsaber, do some emotes and do little jumps in place. Hopefully, this will spread to the rest of the players, and nobody will attack and just emote or roam around the map.
