A Modern Star Wars Bounty Hunter Video Game
The Game Cube Star Wars Bounty Hunter is one of my all time video games. With the hype (and well deserved) around the Mandalorian Series, it got me thinking... How awesome would it be to have an open galaxy modern Bounty Hunter game. Ambitious, yes. Amazing? YES! Something that nods to the excellence of the original Mass Effect series, but remains utterly Star Wars. Drawing heavy inspiration from the Game Cube Star Wars.
-Main Campaign Mission that spans across the galaxy
-Side missions that build upon the world building exploring planets well known and some less known
-Different types of bounties (tiered mission, faction, Hut etc.)
-Rewards for bounties being credits, weapons, gadgets, ships, droids etc.
-A Co-op mode to take down high difficulty bounties with a friend
As for era? Well, there's plenty of times that would be very interesting for a bounty hunter. Clone Wars ear, Original Trilogy Ear, Post Empire and even First Order Ear.
What do you guys think? The future of Star Wars games is a bit of a moving target but Star Wars as a franchise has a lot of momentum right now thanks to completion of Rebels, the success of Mando and the hype around Ep 9. Not to mention SWBF2's come back and Jedi Fallen Order showing us (although we already knew it) that campaign heavy video games are still more than viable, they are essential.
