A Question about Matchmaking.

I have a question about matchmaking.  Is match making supposed to prevent playing teams of strong players who over and over route through their opponents by shaking up the players into other groups of players?  

I ask this due to I just played heros vs villians where I played against teams of players and they would destroy our players and then after I would hit match making button only to end up playing against the same 3 or 4 players.  When matchmaking works (in my humble opinion) is that it jumbles up players who might be great together in one game into a new team with those same people you just won against.  I rarely play in or with othersin team or groups.  If match making is to work you cannot be stuck playing other people who are teamed or grouped up against.

Sorry this will be another question.  Can you let us know in menu screen if I am playing grouped or teams of players.  GTA 5 has a good way of letting you know if you are playing grouped players by highlighting the players in different colors.  I am aware of how you highlight other player when you are in a group or team by highlighting them in green in menu screen and in game.  I am asking can we know if we are playing a group or team of players? Are teamed or grouped players eligble to participate in match making as they clearly do not shake up the composition of their group or team in match making?
