Yes but did you try another controller?
No but I didn't need to because a.) I could recreate it on a specific area in the exact same place turning different directions, not just the first direction that I was turning when I encountered the problem, b.) other people have had/have this problem and nothing has been done c.) it's only Battlefront 2 in which I have this problem. No other games.

Edit: I've also heard people complain about this problem being a thing on PS4 too.
Edit 2: I'm gonna play again now and try without aim assist turned on. However, if that fixes it, just because it does so, does not mean it's not a bug. I should be able to have aim assist on, and not have a problem.
Edit 3: As expected, turning aim assist off did nothing to fix it.

Yes but dont forget PS4 also has joysticks on the controllers. The system that has it the worst is Nintendo 64. Their joystick sucks for that problem.

And im sure you can recreate the problem anywhere not just the spots you try.

No, it's somewhat random. You've clearly never had the problem so you clearly don't know what it's like. It's seemingly random but happens more when it's busy, i.e. Galactic Assault. Some people have said that it's server issues because it happens when there's a lot of players. And no, I can't recreate it anywhere because it's nothing to do with my controller sticks. If it was to do with my controller sticks then it'd most likely happen when looking in a certain specific direction, but it doesn't because there's nothing wrong with my controller. If you'd have read anything I've said, you would've seen that a.) I could recreate it on a VERY specific spot (a small doorway leading to a bunch of enemies. Every time I walked through it in one direction, whilst turning, it'd do the bug) b.) other people have tried changing controllers and even bought brand new controllers, but the problem hasn't gone away.
This. Is. Not. My. Controller. It doesn't happen in ANY other game. ONLY BF2. Sorry for caps again but you seem to misunderstand.
Go through each one of the links I've given and you'll see that it's not just me.

The system that has it the worst is the Nintendo 64? Come on! Don't blame the console that created the 'console joystick' in the first place. I know it's terrible, but it was the first of its kind 😉
My first videogame console BTW, spent a lot of my childhood playing it, good memories.
