Any online modes without special characters?

Any online modes without the uber powerful special characters? I can't find anything in the game that just puts everyone on an even level. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of points to use special characters. I just don't enjoy using them, and would love to see modes that don't allow them. Kinda like back in the day when games just put people on an even level and let skill take its toll.

    not clear what you mean by "special characters". Heroes? Aerial troops?

    By design the different trooper classes have different (special) skills.

    If you are asking if there are any modes without heroes, yes, there are modes like Strike that don't have heroes/villains.

    He means tiered units most likely, meaning not one unit with 200 hp and another with 500 hp, and yet another with 800 hp. Then add in the buffs and damage reductions, this game is no where near being balanced.

    @xProdicate and then Finn activating Superteam and turning grunts into unkillable machines. (And yes, I only play Co-op and still struggle :D )

    @spacemanjupiterYou mean like Blast on Battlefront 1? Nope. I've been kvetching about this since I got the game in 2017. Just give me ONE mode with Infantry only ... that's all I've ever wanted from this game.
