Yess, I was playing Tapped Out and my friends dissapeard, I also get this error message: (see pic)
Glad i'm not alone at least, any idea what we can do or do we just have to wait this out?
Personally, I am just riding it out playing games on Steam and such.
I figure the EA servers may be getting DDoS'd and/or hacked, thus severely disrupting service.
