Attention Co-Op Players

This needs to be addressed. I’m sure we’re all grinding co op as it’s the easiest way to get old master kills. But I’ve noticed a complete lack of competence from my fellow players. They play the game correctly! Yes, confusing I know, but hear me out. Say you’re playing Jabbas Palace, and you win in the first phase. You’ll get maybe 20-30 kills. But if you let the bots push you back, you’ll get to the final phase with 10 minutes on the clock, and you can easily get 150-200 kills. I try so hard to let the bots push us back, and we always get so close, but then some fool rushes in and finishes off the bots. You can triple the amount of kills, maybe quadruple! So why intentionally avoid that? Please, try it out.

@ShrivTheDuros @soapy_catuses Ikr. Let the objective go on for a bit, then you can farm your kills. XP, score, Maul Kills, practice, weapon unlocks, milestones, and more can be achieved by this.

@ShrivTheDuros Honestly, this happens in pretty much every COOP match I play. It can be very frustrating, and only prolongs the milestone completion. Interestingly enough, I noticed that this trend began once the Old Master skin released.

@ShrivTheDuros Agreed. The final phase of Jabba’s Palace (for Imperials) is worth more kills than all the others combined.

Right now there's probably a lot of new players on PS4 that just want to see if they can win. That's what I did in my first two weeks playing the game. I know that it's not the best way to farm kills but winning at different stages on a map can be satisfying especially when the objectives are hard to control. I'm guilty of ending some matches too quickly but now I'm trying to change my ways because I want those skins too!

Mostly because some people play co-op to play and win the game. Not everyone plays just to grind xp

How would you guys suggest I do this?
When I play I play the objective. When I’m on the defending team I try my best to win because it’s harder winning as a defender than when attacking. It’s actually satisfying winning while on the defending team.
When trying to farm xp or milestones, do you just purposely let the AI take the objectives? How does that work?

@thieves1988 You fight as normal, but let off the pressure and let them advance. Keep fighting, but don't push. Let them advance and take ground

@thieves1988 The only hard map to defend on for me is Naboo, other than that I kill everything until the last 2 mins and then pull back. Usually, the other players get killed anyway and we lose the outpost and move back one phase.. You will get the try hards that don't get it but that's to be expected.
