Since EA hasn't responded yet, I'm coming back to let them know I'm still experiencing this issue.
Yes, me and my brother also have this problem (for about a month, I think). We can neither send out a request to play nor accept invitations because we need to "install the game" first, even though we're already in the program. We play through Steam and haven't had this problem in the past.
I'm eager to fix this issue so we can get back to blasting bucketheads (or clankers) again.
