Battlefront 2 - class balance

The Officer class needs a nerf!

The Officer as it was mentioned by the devs got the highest K/D and earns the most battle points of all the classes. This is due to some pretty overpowered weapons and a specific star card.

1. The officer’s presence star card is essentially  a battle point farming machine. Especially together with the bounty hunter star card the 2x battle points multiplicatior that can be earned by staying alive and earning enough points in your squad.

You can easily accumulate enough points for a hero without killing a single enemy just by hiding behind your mates and having an easy time.

2. Both the Blurrg and the SE-44C are still too strong at close range. They both need some work done to make them a fair weapon of choice. 

In general I think that the Officer class is by far the strongest of all the classes and therefore needs some nerfs.

    I just wish they would swap the officers flash grenade with the flash grenade of Leia. The officers one is far more effective and is the best throwable weapon in the game.

    I think before nerfing the f out of the officer class perhaps they could make it so the flash grenade does minimal or even no damage and perhaps a slight reduction in battle points earned but in all honesty I'm not sure that's necessary. I'm not a fan of the officer class and prefer using the heavy but I personally would not like to see the class ruined by ott nerfs. In my experience I regularly see different classes topping leader boards but it's quite true that officers are there regularly and are able to do so by point hoarding however the caps that were introduced in one of the updates has gone quite a way to regulating how ridiculous it used to be and perhaps if they reduced those slightly it might help it feel more balanced. I do enjoy the sense of satisfaction you get from flanking a few unsuspecting officers who are camped out, whipping out the heavy shield and taking them all out, nerfing the officer too much would take a bit of the fun out of that.
