Battlefront 2 Bug

My first thought is the controller as well.  Sometimes if a stick is being actuated when the console is turned on, it reads that actuated position as the "null" position.  Thus when it returns to the null position, the console thinks it is being actuated.  This wouldn't be game specific though, you would see it happening in any game, including in all the menus as well.  Easiest solution is usually to disconnect the controller, make sure no buttons are being pressed and both of the sticks (and the d-pad) are all at the null or "resting" positions, then re-connecting the controller.  Hope this helps!
