Battlefront 2 celebration edition free from Epic launcher progress carries?

Battlefeont 2 celebration edition will be free on Epic games on January 17th 2021. I already bought the base game a few weeks back and made a lot of progress. My question is, If I download the version from Epic Games launcher and keep playing at Epic, would my progress from Origin carry over?. As far as Im concerned Im saving from the cloud and I have also fallen order in which even though I bought it on epic, origin will still have to be launched.

Im just looking for a calmed answer and Im not very experienced on this, so please forgive me.
