Battlefront 2: Celebration Edition not launching.
I just downloaded the free Battlefront 2 celebration edition and the game won't open. I've tried just about everything that i've seen so far. I double click on the icon on my desktop and there isn't any response. I can't launch it from the Origin app and running as administrator doesn't work. I've shut down and rebooted from the start menu as well. I am on my 3rd install try. As soon as it was playable, I tried launching the game and still have the same problems.
@EA_Atic I was able to get it to work by logging into the Epic Game Store and launching from there. It's the only way the game will launch. It's pretty annoying to have to open one game store to launch it for a different game store (Origin) to play with friends there. Following all these "fixes" has now caused discord to have to be launched in admin mode every single time which is also another step that shouldn't have to be done either. Everything seems to work fine once it's all launched but it's a lot just to play a game. Fairly glad the game was free.
