@91comet91 Ok updated it, See something different on bf2 than every other game, while each game has a green check mark, bf2 has a gray dash, I'm looking in the settings right now but can't see what I should exactly do.
Ok just saw something, it says, "Unable to retrieve current settings. Starting and closing the game or application, or editing the settings, should fix this problem." Considering I've started the game but can't I'm guessing I should mess with the settings, but I have no idea what to do.
- 91comet914 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheKetsukara have you done a repair to the game yet
- 91comet914 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheKetsukara try to lunch the game and let me know what happens
- 4 years ago
@91comet91 I haven't repaired it yet, and it does the same thing it was doing at the start, I'm going to see if I can find BF2 files on Google and get rid of any extra files I may have in BF2 files, I might not find anything tho.

@91comet91 Yeah nothing worked, I don't know if telling you what caused this would help but the issue started because I think I failed to install mods, also not hack mods just the skin mods and stuff like that, but anyway I don't think there is a single remanent from the mods in the folders unless I'm missing something.

the mods could be the problem do use mods they can screw your game up
- 91comet914 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheKetsukara mods have been know to screw things up delete all the folder for the game and then reinstall and then will go form there
- 4 years ago
@91comet91 I've done that before, do I have to do it again? If I do, mind just telling me everything I have to do so when I reinstall it I know what do to?
- 91comet914 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheKetsukara the mods need to go. then only way your going to get a good install of the game is by reinstalling it. then we can go from there
- 4 years ago
I'm reinstalling it now, I'll tell you when it is done, don't expect it to be soon though.

@91comet91 I don't even need to know what will happen, I've done this before, it doesn't work, I've tried it 3 times in fact. Sorry if I sound like a * I'm just a bit mad right now.
- 91comet914 years agoSeasoned Ace@TheKetsukara well i tried but you keep the mods installed cant help you
- 4 years ago
@91comet91 they aren't installed, I got rid of the mod manager, I got rid of the modData folder, I don't think there is anything else I need to get rid of.
