Battlefront 2 crashes every time I try to play it, multiple fixes haven't worked

Every time I try to play BF2 the game crashes, I've tried to open it on Steam and on Origin. I have tried multiple fixes such as, checking the game requirements, checking the integrity of the files, ...

Ok just saw something, it says, "Unable to retrieve current settings. Starting and closing the game or application, or editing the settings, should fix this problem." Considering I've started the game but can't I'm guessing I should mess with the settings, but I have no idea what to do.
